Tummy Tuck surgery is done for several reasons, but the main ones are after pregnancy, aging, to change the appearance of your natural body type and weight changes.  However, if you are obese, this surgery might not be for you as a tummy tuck surgery might put you at risk of infection. In general if your body mass index (BMI) is 30 or above you should wait with that surgery until you have lost weight and your BMI is below 25.

Depending on the tummy tuck procedure a scar will be visible. You can reduce, soften the scar and improve overall healing by using a Biological Cell Regulation (BCR) device in the time after surgery.

Before your tummy tuck surgery the plastic surgeon will mark the area where skin and fat will be removed. It is possible to hide the scar behind a bikini line. If that is your choice then please bring the bikini with you to your fist consultation.

An incision is made and excess skin and fat will be removed. the remaining skin will be stretched over the abdomen and fixed in place with sutures.
